Parallel to the State Visit, an endeavor of significant economic importance unfolded as the Dutch Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management, H.E. Mr. Mark Harbers, led a trade mission focused on water, logistics, and aviation. Central to the trade mission was the organization of two key events: the "Business Opportunities on Inland Waterways and Port Development" workshop in the morning and a Logistics Conference in the afternoon of 19 March 2024. These events, hosted at the prestigious Intercontinental Westlake Hanoi Hotel, brought together key stakeholders from the Netherlands and Vietnam to deliberate on avenues of collaboration and investment.

The "Business Opportunities on Inland Waterways and Port Development" workshop served as a forum for exchanging insights and best practices in the development of waterborne infrastructure.
