On March 25, 2022, on the occasion of the visit and working visit of the Dutch Trade Delegation in Ho Chi Minh City, the Consulate General of the Netherlands in corporation with the Department of Investment Promotion and Support in Ho Chi Minh City and the Dutch Business Association in Vietnam (DBAV) in conjunction with the People’s Committee of Da Nang City organized the meeting “Meeting with the Dutch business delegation in Da Nang City”. At the meeting, 13 Dutch business units, including STC Group, had a meeting with representatives of Da Nang City authorization departments and the local Vietnamese businesses organization.

Da Nang City prioritizes attracting investment in high-tech and environmentally friendly fields. Especially attracting investment in projects of Lien Chieu Port, expansion of Da Nang airport, airport urban area and projects in the field of environment. Representative of Da Nang City, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Mr. Le Quang Nam said that the City is committed to supporting and creating the most favorable conditions for Dutch businesses to cooperate and invest in Da Nang and achieve new steps in the fields of activity. He hoped that in the near future, the Consulate General of the Netherlands and the Dutch Business Association in Vietnam (DBAV) will continue to support the introduction of Dutch businesses come to study and invest in Da Nang.

The Dutch Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Daniël Stork thanked the leaders of Da Nang City for the reception of the delegation during this visit. Consul General, Mr. Daniël Stork expected that Da Nang and Dutch businesses would strengthen their cooperation relationship, contributing to economic development. At the same time affirming, the Netherlands is willing to share experiences with Da Nang on seaport development and airport city model development, in accordance with the needs of Da Nang in the current period.
