STC Group is the leading organization in the field of human resources development for the maritime, transportation and logistics industries in the Netherlands and Europe. This includes through training, consulting, applied research, technical support and Technology transfer at Governmental levels. In Vietnam, STC Group has opened its representative office in Hanoi since 2004 and also has two effective joint ventures in Ho Chi Minh City. UT-STC is the first center in Vietnam to apply the ISO 9001: 2015 system approved by the DNV and GL for registry and certify the management of marine resources and crew training. The Tan Cang-STC is the specialized training center for seaports and logistics at Cat Lai with STC-Group’s exclusive Transport Chain Simulator for training human resources in the supply chain and logistics in Viet Nam.

With the aim of boosting foreign cooperation to support and invest in the maritime, transport and logistics training sector in Vietnam, on April 13, 2017, the Deputy Head of Vietnam Maritime Administration Mr. Bui Thien Thu chaired a meeting with STC Group. Involved in the meeting of Vietnam’s side were the Departments of International Cooperation, Management and Personnel, Registration of Vessels and Crews, Maritime Safety, Legislation, Transportation and Cargo Services; and STC-Group leads by Mr Frist Gronsveld, STC Group’s Chairman, and Mr Albert Bos, Managing Director of STC-Group Holding BV, and representatives of UT-STC, Tan Cang-STC and Chief Representative of STC Group in Hanoi are accompanying.
